Fine is the stunning musical union of critically acclaimed solo artists, Alice Kat (Boston, UK) and Liam James Marsh AKA Kid Chameleon (Sheffield UK).

These two have been writing songs together as 'Fine' since 2017 and are able to juxtapose all manner of beautiful jangled indie-pop, slowcore and fuzz-pop, with a lyrical erudition that is able to describe the turmoil of failed relationships in terms of all the things we wish we had said, could not say, were afraid to say, felt, were afraid to feel and steadfastly avoided...you know that feeling you could not describe? They can.

This eponymous double CD, seeks to showcase such beauty in a physical format for the first time, offering the following:

CD1 (tracks 1-11) - The full "i'm glad it's over now" album released digitally in April 2021 (Accross The Universal Landscape's Joint album of the year 2021)

CD2 (tracks 12-26) - 15 tracks selected by Liam / Alice themselves from the remainder of their catalogue of singles and EP

Understated to a beautiful fault (they will simply die at the above praise), it is time that this stunning act receive the attention of as many ears in as many homes as possible.

An absolutely gorgeous pop record by the leader of Scottish band The Vapour Trails. If the Love's Blue Yonder single released in mid-April 2021 was any indication, expectations were high for this first solo album but it even surpasses them as Kevin Robertson proves to be a stellar songwriter, musician and singer, on par with fellow Scotsmen Daniel Wylie and Andrew Taylor.
